Coaches
Synchro BC Professional Development Coaching Grant
Synchro BC is very pleased to announce the newly installed professional development coaching grant.
The purpose of the Professional Development Coaching Grants is to assist coaches who are
interested in a career in coaching by providing an opportunity to upgrade their education and
certification. A grant allows the coach to participate in coaching seminars or conferences,
attend major or domestic competitions, or consult with a recognized sport expert. Four
Professional Development Grants will be offered annually.

The submissions need to be received prior to March 31st. Notification will go out prior to April
30th unless required immediately due to proposal timelines. Receipts must be in the office by
June 15th.

Synchro BC is committed to supporting the growth and success of our High Performance athletes and coaches. The Towards Excellence Program provides great opportunities.

Synchro BC Excellence in Coaching Award
As part of the continued effort to recognize and support excellence in the province of BC, Synchro BC will be awarding the Excellence in Coaching Award. The Excellence in Coaching Award was created to recognize outstanding individuals who demonstrate exemplary leadership in the sport of synchronized swimming at the provincial level. The deadline for the nomination is April 26, 2011.
